Matthew- Senior 2012

If there was a word to describe the sweetest, most genuine, and most talented guy in the world, that word would be Matthew. I don’t care how cheesy that sounds because I promise you it’s true. It’s hard for me to believe what an awesome man he has grown into, and quite frankly I just don’t like it. :)

I could write for hours about what an inspiration he is to me. He is my very best friend. His laugh is one of my favorite sounds. Corny, yes, but if you’ve heard it you know what I’m talking about. I laugh harder with him than I do with anyone else.

We talk a lot about him finding a girlfriend and I’m always telling him not to compromise his standards. I must admit, though, that I’m not sure that there will ever be a girl that I feel is worthy to be his girlfriend/fiance/wife. I have no doubt that the girl he chooses will not only be one of the luckiest girls in the world, but will be one of the best and godliest girls out there. Why? Because he deserves nothing but the best.

Matthew, I pray that I never let my admiration and love for you go unsaid. You are the truest and sweetest best friend, and I am so beyond grateful for our friendship. I can’t imagine life without you, and am so glad I can call you my best friend. I love you more than words could ever express.

A man of many companions may come to ruin,  but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. -Proverbs 18:24

When we were getting ready to leave to take pictures, I told Matthew I wished he would’ve had his ring, his dad’s ring, and his grandpa’s ring. He IM’d me the next day and told me couldn’t stop thinking about the idea so as soon as he got home from school he got his camera and took a picture of all of their rings. He emailed me the picture and told me to edit it. And well, I’m in with love it! The sign in the background is the sign from the mill that his grandpa, my Uncle Benny, owned. I love the sentiment in it.

Oh wow. These are some of my most favorite pictures you’ve ever taken. But it could be because of who your model was. You two are so blessed to have the kind of friendship that you have. Not many people ever find that. Now hurry and put these on Facebook so I can comment on them! :)
