Hannah & Aaron’s Anniversary Session

You know how sometimes you meet people that you just know you’re going to mesh with? That’s how I was the second I met Hannah & Aaron.

Ok, ok. Let me be honest and give you some backstory. They traveled to me from Monroe for their engagement session a couple of years ago. We shot in the middle of nowhere- like zero cell service and the making of a murder mystery. The expression on their faces was hilarious when they finally made it to me. The fact that they were even going to trust this strange, weirdo person that called herself a photographer, when really it probably seemed like I was a murderer, made me love them immediately. 😛

But seriously, I cannot think of two people that are more genuine, sweet, and just seriously SO easy to love. Their wedding almost a year ago to the day (see that whole day right here) is hands down one of my favorites. They could have gotten married in a ditch and I probably would have been equally as elated, though, because I. just. love. them.

I got to hang out with them last week, this time in their sweet little home. And come to think of it, I’d probably call the shots from now on, too, if I were them, based on the history of our last “meeting place” that I chose. Ha!

I love seeing the change in how they interact with each other since I last saw them at their wedding. They were smitten then, but now they smile even easier, laugh deeper, and hug tighter. It’s so cool how living with someone for a year will allow you to really get comfy with each other. Ah marriage. Such a fun little journey that humans are lucky enough to venture into.

As if they weren’t already the coolest duo ever- all of the hand-lettering and home decor in their house is done by them. So talented. Go snatch up some of that talent for your own home here. 🙂

Ok, now for the photos, already! These two are precious, they love Jesus, and in case you couldn’t already tell, I really adore them.
