On a whim Friday I decided that I was going to shoot Monday. The weather change always inspires me so I texted Samantha to make sure she was available to do makeup, and wrote down “creative shoot” on my calendar. I had no vision in mind or anyone to shoot, but I was shooting something either way. 😉 I usually only shoot creatively when it’s for a fully styled shoot, but I decided I would challenge myself, throw together something in a day, and if it didn’t turn out I had nothing to lose. I find most of my inspiration in nature. I can flip through magazines and scroll through Pinterest, but hiking through the woods with Brandon inspires me more than anything else.

Shey is the most beautiful Argentinian (that lives in Italy now) exchange student that’s staying with some of my family, and I knew she would make the perfect gypsy. I hope it’s easy to see my heart in these images. I can’t explain how proud I am that this is my work, because honestly, I feel it’s pretty incredible. But it does help to have someone *that* beautiful to photograph and a makeup artist that exceeds my wildest expectations everytime. Ok, I’ll shut up and let you scroll through the images already!
