I have been looking forward to this day for months! When Stacey booked us for her wedding, I was so stinkin excited. She and Justin were married at the incredible Big Sky Barn near Houston, Texas and it was such a fun venue to shoot at. Every single detail was so well thought out, and the opportunities for beautiful photos were endless!
A huge storm was rolling in the second we pulled up to start shooting, but it passed quickly and we had clear skies for the rest of the day. Stacey and Justin are so loved, and it was clear to see with every seat being full in the chapel. Stacey is a Texas girl and Justin is from Louisiana, and friends and family came from all over to celebrate them.
It was such a good day. We had three (yes, THREE!) different opportunities for bride and groom portraits, and we got some of my favorite portraits ever! Stacey made this a priority, and I have no doubts that she’ll be so glad she did. You don’t have to set aside hours for portraits, but making them a priority will be one of the best decisions you can make on your wedding day.
I can’t put into words how much we enjoyed photographing this sweet wedding. Stacey & Justin were such a joy to work with, and even though Justin isn’t crazy about taking pictures (what guy really is, though?) he didn’t complain a single time, and obliged all of my requests. And made his bride pretty happy, I’m sure. 🙂
Enjoy reliving their day through some of our favorite images!
