Victoria & Taylor’s Texas Engagement Session

Well, Victoria & Taylor’s session ranks pretty high up there for one of my all time favorite sessions, for lots of reasons!

When Victoria and I were talking during her consultation she mentioned that she wanted to do their engagement session in Texas since that’s where they live. I was happy to oblige! And I’m starting to think that maybe we should just relocate to Texas with all these Texas clients we have. I do love it there, after all… 😉

We followed them to Taylor’s family’s home, to see acres upon acres of beautiful pasture land. The chickens and cows and rolling hills had me immediately inspired. It was quiet and serene, and I really really do love Texas! Have I said that too much? 😛

We rode around, stopping often at different places to shoot. Victoria is sweet and beautiful, and Taylor is freaking hilarious. Seriously, we laughed so much, and I felt like we’d known them both forever.

We also met Taylor’s dad and step-mom, and they so graciously invited us in for dinner after our session. Mrs. Lisa told us before we started shooting that she just pulled homemade cinnamon rolls out of the oven, and Brandon joked that they couldn’t keep me away if they tried. 😛

I smiled the entire time I was editing, and this session will be etched in my memory for a long time. We loved our time with Victoria & Taylor and Taylor’s sweet parents, and cannot wait for their wedding next spring!
